Funniest Ad

The top 10 funniest ads were named by the advertising industry today with the winner being the British advert for John West tinned salmon, check out the video below.

 
Another personal favourite of  mine that made it into the top 10 is the John Smith's advert starring Peter Kay where he is on the phone to his daughter warning her of burglars.

SKY HD

I find the adverts that, I think, appear before the Sky HD movies amazing...and it made me think of this advert that was played in cinemas and on HD tv's when they were first released. Obvioulsy it doesn't have the same effect on a youtube video but its still pretty cool.

I can't remember where I saw this the other week but I have just been reminded of it again by the new Simpsons episode which jokes about Apple (we decided not to post it as it would cause too many problems in the mac vs pc war in the studio) but here is '1984' the advert which introduced the Macintosh personal computer for the first time.

Holidays are coming

I won't post 'the holiday's are coming' advert for coca cola just yet (maybe on monday) but kicking off the christmas festivities is this cool little ap from coca-cola powered by google maps. Check out what the (untitled) studio (and part of the fire station next door) could look like with some Christmas lights on the roof.

Better still is seeing which buildings around you have been decorated too!
